* Awards are based on 2014-15 Undergraduate students at a SUNY College, NYS resident tuition.
   1st Place   is $5,870 - (2 semesters tuition)
   2nd Place  is $4,402.50 - (1.5 semesters tuition)
   3rd Place   is $2,935- (1 semester tuition)

2015 / 2016 Annual Scholarship Award

(Must be Received by May 15, 2015)

All applicants must be either: son, daughter, grandchild, step-child or ward of a member in good standing.

A member in good standing is one who has been a “TMBA member” for at least three (3) years prior to the annual scholarship year and who is not in arrears in the current year.

Applicants may be requested to verify his/her relationship with a member in good standing.

Applicants: High School Seniors planning to enter college for the first time following graduation during the 2014-2015 school year. S.A.T. or A.C.T scores attained in the either the junior and/or senior year must be certified in writing by the current High School administration.

Applicants are required to write an essay (500 words or less on “Why I deserve the award”). Applicants will be judged on the basis of their scholastic record, involvement in community, extra-curricular activities, and the quality of the essay submitted.

Multiple one (1) year undergraduate college scholarship awards will be selected by TMBA Scholarship Award Committee.

* Current scholarships awards are: First place ($5,870), Second place ($4,402.50), and Third place ($2,935).

All decisions of the TMBA Scholarship Award Committee shall be final.

 

 

All award winning scholarship recipients will receive a check in the appropriate amount payable to the selected applicant.

 

 

 

The award will be restricted to the payment of tuition, books, and associated fees towards an academic accredited college.
